Easy Way to Make Taquitos/Breakfast Burritos

I love Breakfast Burritos and so does my family.  The problem is I am a working wife and Mother and once I make something like this, unless you are home to make it fresh for them when they get home, which I’m not always, it is a hard dish for them to warm up themselves.  

If you warm it up in the microwave it is rubbery.  If your family is really hungry they do not want
to wait for it to warm up in the oven.  So I am going to give you the recipe (which is very easy) and then I am going to show you how to have it ready to eat any time.

Breakfast Burrito
You will need sausage-eggs and sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
Cook the sausage (I just cook one tube)
scramble the eggs (6 or so)
layer the flour tortilla with cheese, sausage, egg and then cheese again.
Make sure you just layer with a small amount (because it will be to hard to roll up if you get too much food in there).
Layer at one end and then tuck in the ends
and roll up the tortilla
Then take a piece of foil (I use the non-stick reynolds wrap)
make sure it is large enough to completely cover the burrito.
Take a stick of butter and rub the end of the butter on the piece of foil you are going to wrap the burrito in.
Be sure to wet the outside of the burrito with water using a basting brush.
This will keep it from drying out.
I also put a little bit of water in the bottom of
my crock pot.  This steams the flour tortilla and
keeps it soft.
Depending on how long it will be before everyone eats, you can
either keep this on low or leave it on warm.
This idea also works really well when you have family
eating at different times because of ball games or other activities. 
Serve with picante sauce.
You can also do this for regular meat burritos.
